Child Trust Funds encourage all people to start saving for their kids, not just the richest.
The CTF gives 3 million disadvantaged families an additional boost with an extra government contribution to help them on their way. But it also helps middle class families by giving them access to tax-efficient savings for thier children's future. They would all lose out from its abolition.
